Job description

VHIR seek a vacant position for a Postdoctoral researcher in the Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology in order to develop a project in translational research in endometriosis.More information about our group:Education and qualifications:Required:

• PhD in Biology, or similar sciences degrees
• Fluency in English

Experience and knowledge:Required:

• Previous experience in a translational research group
• Experience in mass spectrometry, including experimental work and data analysis
• Experience in organoid development
• First author in publications
• Passionate, proactive, willing to learn and committed

Desired:

• Previous experience with handling of complex human samples
• Previous experience in endometriosis research
• Efficient in manuscript drafting

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Participate in translational research projects on endometriosis
• Collaborate with other projects of the group, by promoting fruitful discussions or by helping in experimental work
• Participate in general activities of the group
• Support the principal researcher in managerial activities

Labour conditions:

• Full-time position: 40h/week.
• Starting date: We can adapt to the candidate’s situation.
• Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
