Offer DescriptionIMIBIC is looking for a qualified professional to carry out scientific and technical tasks, his/her main responsibilities will be the support of clinical trials and the ex vivo and in vitro studies of the Rheumatology Service, the tasks are related to the project “Identification of the molecular mechanisms of nonresponse to treatments, relapses and remission in autoimmune, inflammatory, and allergic conditions – 3TR (IMI2-2018-14-01-F2)”, in the IMIBIC research group GC05 “Systemic and chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases of the locomotor system and connective tissue”.Summary:

• Support clinical researchers for patient recruitment in 3TR Precis-The-RA study.
• Collaborate with the clinical study visits, gathering patient data for the study visits and performing molecular, cellular, in vivo and in vitro studies.
• Develop statistical and bioinformatic analyses of the results obtained in multi-omics studies.
• Processing of biological samples from the 3TR Precis-The-RA study, according to the study protocol.
• Participation in 3TR project meetings.
• Support in the scientific and administrative management of the 3TR project.

1) University degree in Life Sciences.
2) Master in Bioinformatics.

• Research experience in the area of inflammatory rheumatic diseases (Master thesis, PhD, participation in projects, etc.) (1 point per year or proportional fraction for smaller periods, maximum of 3 points).
• Peer-reviewed publications in the area of inflammatory rheumatic diseases (first author: 0,5 points /publication in Q1 and 0.25 points in Q2, maximum 2 points).
• Stays at internationally renowned research centers related to the area of study (0,1 points per month, maximum 1 point).
• Accredited level of English minimum B2 (official accreditation or international stay of at least 1 academic course duration, 1 point).
