Our goal: Develop personalized osteoarthritis treatments through cutting-edge organ-on-chip and omics technology.
Your colleagues: An interdisciplinary team of scientists within MERLN, working closely with partners in the CARCHIP consortium.Osteoarthritis (OA) is a highly prevalent joint disease with no cure – yet. Within the CARCHIP project, we are building a cartilage-on-chip platform that allows for personalized treatment based on each patient’s molecular profile.As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be at the heart of this translational effort. You will develop and apply advanced mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows, spatial omics strategies, and automated clinical sample preparation. You will collaborate closely with academic and industrial partners, and your findings will feed directly into drug testing and clinical translation.Together with your colleagues at MERLN and across the CARCHIP network, you will contribute to impactful science with a human focus.Are you ready to help shape the future of precision medicine? We are the MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine, part of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML) at Maastricht University. Our work focuses on regenerative medicine, biomaterials, and organ-on-chip models.
