Job description

Education and qualifications:Required:

• Ph.D or MD/Ph.D
• Specific/Additional training in bioinformatics analysis (publication records)
• Fluency in English language

Desired:

• Additional training in molecular biology.
• Basic clinical knowledge of pancreaticobiliary cancers.
• Fluency in Catalan and/or Spanish.

Experience and knowledge:Required:

• Knowledge of bioinformatics analysis, including RNA-seq, WES, ChIP-seq, and ATAC-seq data analysis. Proficient in R and Python programming languages.
• Ability to develop and incorporate new pipelines.

Desired:

• Knowledge of high-throughput screening (drug, CRISPR-Cas9).

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Coordinate multi-omics data analysis in the group
• Give support to researchers within the group
• Collaborate with clinical investigators and other groups in the Vall d’Hebron campus.
• Prepare regular progress reports
• Analyze experimental data
• Keep track of all analytical records

Labour conditions:

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
• Starting date: February 2025
• Gross annual salary: 28,000 – 33,000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
