JOSEP TRUETA (IDIBGI) opens the selection process to cover one job position to be part of the Cardiovascular Genetics research group led by Dr. Brugada, to be part of the research project ‘Cellular physiopathology of hereditary arrhythmias in cardiomyocytes derived from iPs cells’ “ in the following professional category:
Postdoctoral Researcher
Functions to be developed:
 Electrophysiological studies in cellular models of genetic variants.
 Cell models: Human embryonic kidney cells (HEK) and iPS-derived cardiomyocytes.
 Pharmacological studies.
 Cloning.

 Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in the tasks of the position.
 Appear as main author or corresponding author of articles published in relation to research in cardiovascular genetics.
 Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and written and spoken English.Specific RequirementsTechnical and basic skills (60 points):
 Advanced knowledge in acquisition and analysis of intracellular calcium and pH images (10 points).
 Advanced knowledge of patch-clamp for the acquisition and analysis of whole-cell and single-channel ionic currents (10 points).
 Basic skills in genetic engineering for cloning and mutagenesis of expression vectors (10 points).
 Basic skills in transcriptomic analysis (10 points).
 Advanced proficiency in iPS cell culture and differentiation techniques and flow cytometry (10 points).
 Demonstrable experience in basic biochemical techniques (subcellular fractionation, protein and nucleic acid extraction, western blot, PCR, qPCR) and immunofluorescence techniques (10 points).
