Our client, a well-established global company in the lab products and services industry, is seeking a Prevention Advisor/Specialist to join their dynamic team in Leuven. Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement EHS3 organizational policies in accordance with company guidelines in Belgium
– Coordinate the induction and training process related to the Seveso III regulations
– Utilize your technical expertise to support the implementation of process safety and ensure its application
– Introduce and monitor EHS processes and documentation for the distribution and logistics departments
– Conduct EHS3 audits as per the developed program
– Support and coordinate incident and observational safety investigations using root cause analysis techniques
– Maintain accurate records and documented information pertaining to the EHS3 function
Requirements:
– Higher education preferred, along with a Prevention Advisor Level 2 certificate
– Previous experience in the distribution or logistics sector is advantageous
– Knowledge of process safety, Atex, and experience as an internal auditor (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 preferred)
– Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English
