Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessing the financial stability of suppliers
• Independently preparing financial analyses and creating assessments of suppliers’ financial situations
• Financial evaluation of business concepts, business plans, and restructuring concepts of suppliers in crisis situations
• Leading financial discussions with suppliers to develop appropriate solutions
• Coordinating cross-departmental cooperation and being responsible for implementing necessary actions in crisis situations, which will be managed on a global scale
• Providing support in insolvency-related matters, including verifying the plausibility of loss planning during the continuation period and reviewing invoicing of continuation contributions

Requirements:

• A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
• Several years of experience in evaluating annual financial statements, business reports, and budget and planning calculations
• In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Advanced proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• A high level of responsibility, proactivity, and independence in work
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical thinking, assertiveness, and decision-making skills

Additional assets:

• Legal experience, particularly in German insolvency and restructuring law
• Willingness to travel for business
• Experience in the automotive industry
