Pricing & Modelling SBS Analysis Apprentice

The main role is to assist the team through:

• Case pricing of large complex accounts
• Model development for different lines
• Parameterisation of global parameters.

The jobholder will have strong technical interest, an analytical mindset and good communication skills.

• Technical pricing of large single risks, providing insightful analysis to underwriters through clear communication, with a focus on improving profitability.
• Work closely with actuaries, modellers and underwriters to develop and maintain appropriate pricing benchmarks, methods and tools.
• Assist in the review of insurance parameters and economic assumptions used for Pricing and Modelling.

Required qualification

• Studying towards a degree (Bachelor, Master 1 or Master 2) in a quantitative discipline (Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Science)
• Pursuit of an Actuarial qualification or an Engineer qualification is a plus
• Good English verbal and written

Nice to haves :

• Some knowledge of (Re)Insurance
• Excel and the ability to manipulate and format data sets
• VBA, SQL, GIS, Python, R, Git, Access,Tableau
