Primary Teaching Assistant CanterburyAcademics in Canterbury are seeking caring, patient, and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and inclusive primary schools in Canterbury. You will work closely with class teachers to support children across the curriculum, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support across a range of subjects
• Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Support pupils emotional and behavioural development
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with classroom preparation and general admin tasks
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to support pupil progress
• Promote equal opportunities and safeguard the welfare of all pupils
• Uphold the school’s policies on behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion

What we are looking for:

• Be a newly qualified or experienced Teaching Assistant
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service
• Have an empathetic and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Right to work in the UK
