About the jobAs Principal scientist-in vivo Immunology within our Discovery and Partnerships Team in Immunology and Inflammation Research Therapeutic Area, you’ll lead the in vivo pharmacology research activities within the Discovery and Partnerships cluster. Ready to get started?You are an experienced immunologist and in vivo pharmacologist? Join the team supporting target validation and preclinical development of therapeutic molecules. You’ll contribute to multiple preclinical innovative projects and conduct drug discovery research experiments using in vivo and in vitro techniques of immunopharmacology, and molecular and cellular biology.Join the engine of Sanofi’s mission — where deep immunoscience meets bold, AI-powered research. • Provide hands-on expertise and serve as in vivo pharmacology lead for research programs within the cluster
• Develop and implement new clinically-relevant mouse models of inflammatory diseases to evaluate the pharmacodynamic effect and efficacy of innovative therapeutic agents to support portfolio progression
• Identify and develop ex vivo analytical tools that can be used to maximize the read-outs from in vivo studies
• Present research findings and data to project teams
• Maintain records (including study protocols, procedures, data reports, and related documentation) and prepare reports for IND filings
• Ensure compliance with company established practices and maintain the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical compliance and data integrity
• Enable productivity, execution with a sense of urgency, teamwork, accountability, scientific rigor and excellence

About you

• Experience: Ensure compliance with company established practices and maintain the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical compliance and data integrity
• Soft skills: Excellent interpersonal and impactful communication skills. Demonstrate a high level of autonomy and initiative to troubleshoot and accurately perform data analysis on in vivo studies. Self-motivated team player and fast learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment
• Technical skills: Proficiency and hands-on experience in technical skills to carry out efficacy, pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic and biodistribution studies in rodent models of autoimmunity and inflammation. Experience working with cross-functional teams. History of moving product candidates through preclinical studies to IND is desirable. Training in Animal Experimentation Designer Level valid in France
• Education: Ph.D. in Immunology, Pharmacology, or related discipline with strong expertise in in vivo pharmacology applied to immunology in academic facility or biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Languages: English, French desirable
