Our campus is based in beautiful bucolic surroundings near Venice and Treviso. It is a vibrant campus that caters to both day and boarding students and which is constantly seeking to improve its already world-class facilities.We are currently looking for an exceptional Principles of Management Professor. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as applications will be processed on a rolling basis. You will teach in the Business Department and to our students enrolled in the first year of our Bachelor’s Degrees.We are looking for passionate professors who give their students hope for the future and can help them grow and be better than their previous best.Indicative module content

• Introduction to management.
• Management: Definition, principles, processes. Management theories.
• Management relationships: Individual, organisation, market.
• Key tasks and primary management processes and their relationships. Role of context in management. Value created through management.
• Theories and styles of leadership and their impact on organisations: Delegation, negotiation, decision making, motivation, team-work relationships and integrated teamwork, conflict avoidance, and resolution.
• Organisational behaviour: goals, objectives, structure, authority, culture.
• Marketing, financial, and human resource management functions.

Qualifications Requested

• A relevant master’s degree or Phd qualification (eg: Management, Business, or another related field from an accredited, state-approved programme).
• Resident in Italy – Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA).
• Immaculate police check(s).
• Fluent English: reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference – CEFR level C1-C2).

Contract Duration2nd term (January-July 2025)36h of teaching + assessment and other academic related activitiesExperience

• A minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a university environment.
• Relevant teaching experience within the subject area(s)
• Evaluate and provide regular feedback on students’ exercises, projects and examinations.
• Specialist skills & knowledge.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
• Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
• Planning and organisational skills.
