Then keep reading…As our Privacy Officer, you’ll join our international DPO Office, focusing on privacy and data protection. You’ll be the go-to for business stakeholders like Security, Procurement, HR, Tech, Product, and IT on data protection, privacy laws, and accreditation standards, primarily focusing on logistics services in Europe and occasionally international aspects.These are some of the key ingredients to the role

• Review business activities and features for privacy compliance, including legitimate interest assessments.
• Working on key data protection processes, such as incident assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments, records management, and data subject rights reporting.
• Identify privacy risks in employee, logistics, driver, and partner data, advising on risk treatment and countermeasures.
• Collaborate with HR and labor-management teams to support labor relations and negotiations for new software and IT tools.
• Liaise with works council committees and company directors on privacy matters related to labor relations.
• Work with Information Security, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure privacy maturity and controls.

What will you bring to the table?If you’re not a qualified lawyer, no worries! We are looking for a privacy professional with experience and a genuine passion for privacy and data protection laws and ambition and willingness to further develop. So, you’re passionate about privacy and up to date on data regulations developments in Europe.

• Experience in privacy or compliance, focusing on data management and protection, ideally in a tech-driven e-commerce environment or logistic company.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., Master’s in Law, Finance, Economics, or Information Security).
• Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPT, CIPM) a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, and national data protection laws.
• Familiarity with German labor law, co-determination, and Works Council processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communicator in German and English (native German speaker a plus).
• Experience with OneTrust is a plus.
