• Salary: Up to €83,600 per year
• Contract: Direct and Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Location: Onsite at Amsterdam Production Facility
• Vacation: 30 vacation days per year

Key Responsibilities:At their Amsterdam Facility, you will support the production of recombinant proteins, vaccines, and live microbials as drug substances and drug products, using state-of-the-art DSP techniques in a GMP-regulated environment.Some responsabilities include:

• Process Development: Design and optimize downstream purification processes for recombinant proteins, mRNA, and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).
• Process Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of DSP processes to GMP production teams at the Amsterdam facility and other company locations.
• Small-Scale Testing: Plan, execute, and report on laboratory-scale runs, ensuring alignment with scale-up and GMP standards.
• GMP Production Support: Collaborate with GMP teams to ensure smooth integration of developed processes, with a focus on consistency, compliance, and reproducibility.
• Project Management: Act as a key team member in customer projects, maintaining strong communication and providing technical support throughout the DSP lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process innovations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality in downstream workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Preferably a Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Bioprocess Design, or Bioprocess Development.
• Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in protein purification, chromatography, filtration (TFF), or working with nucleic acids and lipid nanoparticles in DSP contexts.

Soft Skills:

• Accurate, structured, and quality-conscious work approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Team player with a high degree of autonomy.
