• Managing/Supporting landside logistics procurement projects for Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia (mainly full container business)
• According to authority level, management and participation in negotiationsand assisting in the implementation of Service Level Agreements between Maersk’s operation and its suppliers.
• Cooperating closely with colleagues and stakeholders in Maersk’s operation, working very closely with the country organization to ensure alignment between costs, commercial needs and operational execution (mainly Hungary and Czechia and Slovakia).
• Engaging with local organization, counterparts in the other Areas and inland procurement stakeholders in Central South Europe. Due to the lack of proximity to all stakeholders, a strong application of written communication and presentation material is required.
• An ability to solve complex challenges through analysis and based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes and are aware of the impact of proposed solutions outside their own immediate area.

We are looking for

• Relevant procurement experience especially in inland full container transportation, associated with Negotiation skills.
• Tactical procurement activities within the region (providing local solutions by applying local knowledge).
• Perform supplier market analysis and organize market intelligence for suppliers in scope.
• Nice to have experience within Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills both in English language and one among the following languages at mothertoungue level: Czech, Hungarian
• Customer mindset- an understanding of how customer needs relate to procurement activities.
• Ability to exercise impact with or without direct authority.
• Ability to constructively challenge the safe choice.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel
