You will become part of a diverse and global Procurement team located across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland, Dubai, Bahrain, Riyadh, and Hong Kong. On behalf of our global organization, we manage procurement activities of an annual spend of ~4.3 billion EUR.“In this role you will be part of the Procurement MRO team responsible for sourcing Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) projects for Arla’s ~60 production sites. You will have many great opportunities to make a difference both from a commercial and process-oriented perspective. You can expect to face many stakeholders and exciting commercial project management challenges, and you will always have great support from your team,” says Christoffer Løvstad Christensen.How you will make an impactWe are looking for a Category Manager, who can Lead procurement initiatives and optimization projects to enhance efficiency and cost savings. You will work closely with stakeholders, other procurement colleagues and ensure that Arla Foods optimizes its use of external resources such as contractors, electricians, and other service providers involved in the global maintenance of our dairy facilities.Additionally, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Building and Equipment Maintenance.
• Commercial Responsibility: Negotiate and establish agreements with suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Supplier Selection: Identify and select suppliers that meet our quality and service standards.
• Supplier Consolidation: Implement strategies for consolidating suppliers to streamline operations and reduce complexity.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and needs.

What will make you successfulYour background covers a commercial degree at properly master’s level, but more importantly, you have a high drive and love to get projects started.We expect that you bring experience within procurement and if you supplemented your experience from a similar position as Category Manager in MRO, it will be a considerable advantage.You have strong project management skills driving processes, including negotiating and landing contract agreements. You are experienced in business partnering, building positive relationships, and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• You know how to keep processes going through thoughtful communication, flexible project management, and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
• Your analytical skills allow you to be comfortable changing from a high-level strategic view to doing operational tasks to deep dive for insights.
• On a personal level, you bring strong leadership qualities, and the combination of your business knowledge and communication skills enables you to influence others to move towards a common goal.
• You are skilled at developing relationships with the empathy to understand the human elements in a change journey, whilst retaining focus.
• You are resilient and determined to achieve your objectives but possess the flexibility to listen to push back and work collaboratively to achieve our agreed goals.
