This is a key leadership role, responsible for both strategic procurement initiatives and people development across the region.You will play a central role in aligning procurement activities with business priorities, driving cost optimization, and supporting new product development (NPD) projects. With a mix of operational execution and strategic leadership, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact across multiple European locations.Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. As a key player in our European procurement organization, you will be responsible for both team leadership and operational excellence across multiple factories and projects.You will represent Procurement in key business forums and drive alignment across functions, acting as a trusted partner in performance improvement and change management initiatives. Part of your role will be to manage, develop, and support a regional team-including recruitment, performance tracking, and development planning.You will also lead selected cost optimization projects and support New Product Development (NPD) by ensuring early supplier involvement and the selection of appropriate technologies and platforms, in full compliance with IATF 16949 standards.Additionally, you will:

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop effective sourcing solutions at both regional and global levels
• Prepare and facilitate ideation workshops with suppliers and internal teams to build a pipeline of savings opportunities
• Participate in product re-design projects, ensuring smooth implementation through robust processes such as Change Control and PPAP
• Identify and visualize risks early, and implement strategies to mitigate them
• Collaborate with global category managers and project leads to execute initiatives that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets

Background & SkillsTo succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong mix of technical understanding, commercial mindset, and leadership capability. You’re someone who can manage complexity, build alignment across stakeholders, and consistently deliver results.You hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, or a related field, and you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing-preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. You’ve worked in high-performance environments where meeting challenging targets is part of the culture.We’re looking for someone who also brings:

• Broad knowledge of procurement practices, cost drivers, market dynamics, and supplier management strategies
• Hands-on experience in strategic sourcing of castings, machining, aluminum, and turned parts
• Strong negotiation and supplier evaluation skills, along with an understanding of commercial contracts and risk management
• A proven track record of leading and developing teams, promoting engagement and ownership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
• A global mindset and ability to collaborate in cross-cultural environments
• Strong time management and project coordination skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
