We are looking for a temporary Procurement Manager to join the Retail Development and Operations category of a leading global fashion brand. In this role, you will play a key part in managing strategic procurement projects, providing insights into operational spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing high-value goods and services.Your daily responsibilities will include running the Global RFx process, finalizing vendor negotiations, managing key stakeholder relationships, and overseeing strategic projects such as store rebranding and construction in the EMEA region.This temporary assignment, located in Amsterdam, will last for approximately 6 months. Apply today!BeschrijvingResponsibilities: Procurement Manager – Non-Commercial Goods (Temporary)In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead Global RFx Process: Manage the RFx process across regions, ensuring effective vendor selection and competitive pricing;
• Vendor & Performance Management: Build and maintain vendor relationships, monitor performance, and forecast future needs;
• Market & Vendor Analysis: Conduct market research to identify and evaluate vendors aligned with sourcing and sustainability goals;
• Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate contracts, ensuring clarity on KPIs and compliance with policies;
• Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and cost reductions to drive savings and enhance service quality;
• Risk Management: Mitigate procurement risks while ensuring compliance with service levels and policies;
• Project Leadership: Lead strategic procurement projects, ensuring alignment and timely execution across teams;
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for procurement matters, promoting procurement’s value to internal teams.

RequirementsRequirements: Procurement Manager – Non-Commercial Goods (Temporary)The Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably with at least 2 years as a buyer;
• Experience in specific retail procurement would be a strong advantage;
• Proven experience in contract management, procurement, and value-engineering principles;
• Clear communicator and strong negotiation skills;
• Available immediately and able to work a temporary contract or freelance assignment without a need for sponsorship;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
