Hop on and ride with us as Procurement Specialist towards a challenging and impressive future with Europe’s fastest growing retailer!This is your daily actionAs a Procurement Specialist Supply Chain you are responsible for a part of the Supply Chain suppliers (in the field: ocean freight/ transport/ material handling equipment/ logistic service providers). You will collaborate with outbound supply chain stakeholders, advising about contracts, and shape supply chain dynamics. As a procurement professional you understand the requirements and changes in the supply chain organization. On day to day base you’ll be advising your stakeholders, shape and assist implementing new strategies and negotiation of contracts. You will support the supply chain procurement team with market analyses, Ariba contract management and track savings. You will also work closely with the procurement analyst team.As a Procurement Specialist you:

• Create a solid and trustful relationship with your internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Eager to develop procurement experience to Procurement Manager level and interested in assist and shape strategic categories with the procurement team and stakeholders.
• Have preferably logistical knowledge of supply chain or logistic flows or third party logistic providers and their services.
• Contribute to Action’s growth by ensuring our supply chain keeps pace with increasing volumes.

Your expertise will shape our future!Meet your teamOur Supply Chain Procurement Team consists of 4 Procurement Managers with each their own field of expertise and a Lead Procurement Manager. On daily base we work hard to accommodate the growth of action. The volumes are increasing every year and supply chain has to keep up with the demands. Our team really makes a difference and there is plenty of room to build and implement new strategies and projects.This is youYou feel you are a match with the values of our company. Being result-oriented and analytically strong, you feel comfortable negotiating.In addition you have:

• Bachelor degree, preferably in business administration.
• A minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in supply chain.
• Strong analytics capability, accompanied by high-level Excel proficiency and adept presentation skills.
• Skills to structure activities, to manage projects and change (evaluation of the impacts, communication and coaching of the stakeholders).
• Fluent in English, Dutch language is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar Procurement tool is beneficial.

• 24 days of holiday and the option to buy 5 extra days (based on 38 hours per week).
