• Managing and communicating customer and market problems internally, helping to shape the Simcenter X product direction through a clearly evidenced set of priorities
• Working closely with product owners and technical development teams in shaping new and innovative solutions to expand the scope of the software’s coverage
• Staying ahead of the CAE cloud market, anticipating trends and challenges customers may face
• Crafting and championing the product roadmap and vision to customers, producing go-to-market materials promoting Simcenter X
• Building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders in sales, support, and other product management groups across the organisation

Your success is grounded in:

• MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering (or similar)
• Industrial experience using CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) simulation software such as Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, Simcenter TestLab or similar commercial software
• Experience of working in a software environment as a Product Manager within the context of agile development processes
• Your flexibility to work with distributed teams across various time-zones – this role is global, requiring occasional international travel
• Excellent communications skills in English (both written and verbal) including the ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations to audiences who possess technically diverse skills and backgrounds
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, regardless of reporting structure
• Delivering cloud products and services as well as knowledge of Simcenter portfolio solutions or other Siemens SaaS software (such as NX X, Capital X, Teamcenter X) (if possible)
