Product Security Developer – Remote (Contract)

What You’ll Do

* Security Architecture: Design and maintain a robust application security framework.
* Security Solutions: Implement best-practice security measures to safeguard our products.
* Risk Management: Translate business objectives into actionable security strategies.
* Compliance & Standards: Establish and enforce security standards for development and deployment.
* Data Protection: Define encryption and tokenization protocols to secure sensitive data.

Key Projects

* Cloud Migration: Lead the move from AWS and legacy data centers to Azure, ensuring security at every step.
* Security Program Rebuild: Overhaul our product security framework to meet industry standards.
* Architecture Development: Implement a comprehensive security architecture program.

Collaboration & Leadership

* Work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to embed security into every part of the development lifecycle.
* Oversee third-party vendor security measures.
* Collaborate with experts to share knowledge and best practices.
* Ensure business continuity during critical events with a strong security framework.

What You Need

* 6-8 years of hands-on experience in application security, threat modeling, and secure coding.
* Expertise in vulnerability management and building secure development processes.
* Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF.
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, TOGAF, or CISM are a plus.
* Must be based in Europe.
