About the role

As a Production Engineer at our manufacturing site in Oevel, you’ll act as a key technical resource for Asset Operations, supporting operational teams to run safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll provide subject matter expertise in unit technology, equipment, and process control, while driving improvements in operating discipline, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Your work will directly impact plant reliability, productivity, and safety.

About you

You bring a strong technical background in production or process engineering, with a passion for operational excellence and continuous learning. You’re analytical, collaborative, and ready to make a meaningful impact on plant performance

You will also bring:

-A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
-Experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment
-Strong understanding of unit operations, process control, and troubleshooting
-Familiarity with MOC processes, root cause analysis, and SPC tools
-Ability to collaborate across technical, maintenance, and reliability teams
-Excellent communication and documentation skills, both in Dutch and English
-A proactive mindset and commitment to safety and compliance
-A personal development plan mindset, with a desire to continuously grow
