Offer DescriptionThe competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and the following eligibility criteria:
1) the academic title of professor in the field of “social sciences,”
2) have at least 10 years of professional experience in teaching subjects related to security and defense in the broad sense, including supervising diploma and doctoral students in security sciences,
3) have supervised at least 10 master’s theses or doctoral dissertations in the discipline of “security sciences,”
4) have documented academic achievements in the discipline of “security sciences,” including at least 5 publications with a minimum score of 100 points in journals listed by the minister responsible for science in the last five years,
5) have actively participated in academic life, demonstrated by, among other things, active participation in scientific conferences in the last 3 years,
6) knowledge of English at a communicative level,

2) a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data (Appendix 1),

5) copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming their education (originals available for review before signing the contract),
6) documents confirming professional experience,
7) documents confirming academic achievements,
8) a declaration of compliance with the requirements of Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Appendix 3),
9) copies of certificates and additional attestations,
10) a declaration of receipt of information about the internal procedure for reporting violations of law and taking follow-up actions at the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz (Appendix 4),
11) a declaration that the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz will be the primary place of employment within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Appendix 5).Documents must be signed manually or with a certified electronic signature.Selection processDocuments should be submitted in person or sent to the University’s address: Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Nowy Sącz, ul. The deadline for submitting documents is August 21, 2025 (the date of receipt at the University will be decisive). The competition results will be announced by August 25, 2025. Information on the results, along with the justification, will be published in the University’s Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.Additional commentsThe selection committee reserves the right to interview candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal requirements or are submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
