• Consolidating current special /project cargo clients
• Building DFDS presence in sectors
• Serving external customers with a variety of customs activities
• Gaining new business, setting up internal structures to deal with customers conversing with customers on legal requirements of oversize products

About you

• Strong knowledge of business sectors which require non-standard transport and project solutions. Experience is overseeing transport solutions for projects in Ireland, UK & Europe. Knowledge of legal requirements for transportation of nonstandard (out of gauge) products
• Engineering background an advantage to converse with customers, understand technical requirements needed to provide transport solutions.
• Self-starter, motivated by ensuring excellence for customer
• Enjoys providing attention to detail to ensure all aspects of movement of product are planned and followed through. Capable of conversing with customers and colleagues to ensure partnership approach is applied
