NR REF.: 1189749For our client, an international company with decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full development lifecycle of renewable energy projects, specialising in solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy. This role will focus on driving projects from the early-stage development to the point of energy generation, ensuring smooth project progression, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations, all while contributing to Poland’s renewable energy transition.
Location: Warsaw
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of solar PV and wind farm projects in Poland, from greenfield to ready-to-build (RTB) stage.
• Identify and secure suitable sites for utility-scale solar PV and wind farm projects, conducting feasibility studies and due diligence.
• Manage the permitting process, including securing environmental, grid, and construction permits.
• Coordinate with local authorities, landowners, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
• Work closely with technical teams to develop project designs and layouts.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Supervise external consultants and contractors involved in the development phase.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Polish regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in managing renewable energy projects, particularly solar PV and wind, in Poland.
• Strong understanding of the permitting and regulatory landscape for renewable energy projects.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Polish and English.
• A background in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
