Our client, a leading supplier of process solutions to the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industry, is hiring an experienced Sales & Marketing (S&M) Project Engineer. This role ensures that all contracted deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing risks.Working alongside the Department Lead Manager, you will optimize the project order-to-fulfillment lifecycle to deliver a world-class customer experience.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calculations required for equipment verification.
• Review and analyze client specifications in terms of the company’s quotation, scope of supply, and commercial items.
• Generate Isometric drawings, P&IDs, and control of changes.
• Conduct P&ID walkdowns.
• Develop and control project schedules.
• Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals, and handover documentation.
• Generate Purchase Requisition Forms for project equipment and components.
• Perform design reviews with clients, production, and the mechanical engineering department.
• Maintain the project database and control project documentation.
• Inspect the mechanical build as it progresses.
• Facilitate project communications and reports.
• Support client meetings.
• Assist with incoming inspection of project equipment and components.
• Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Process or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent (e.g., a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role).
• Industry experience, ideally in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
• Good understanding of GMP and requirements for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive and proven experience in delivering projects.
• Full, clean driver’s license.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience adopting standard tools and processes.
• AUTOCAD experience.
• Ability to liaise with international clients and vendors across different sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Capability to meet strict deadlines.
• Availability to travel when required (primarily office-based, with some project-specific travel).
