Job Description

Orise, an internationally growing company, is looking for an experienced IT/OT Project Engineer with expertise in Operational Technology (OT) and IT infrastructure. As a project engineer within our organization, you will assist clients in managing their IT/OT infrastructure, resolving incidents, and overseeing project management. We offer a varied role with significant responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.

What you will do
-Analyze and resolve incidents and problems for our clients
-Work on projects with a variety of clients in the chemical and energy sectors
-Provide advice on, manage, and set up IT/OT infrastructure (servers, industrial applications, historians, databases, (custom) scripting, dashboarding, etc.)
-Identify and seize opportunities in collaboration with the client
-Install and configure software in consultation with the client
-Manage updates and patches for various platforms
-Provide all-round support to end users (on-site or through remote support)
-Prepare and maintain documentation
-Manage small to medium-sized projects for different clients
-Provide consultancy services to clients as needed

What you can bring to the table:

Must-haves:

-Your education: Professional bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
-Your experience: At least 2 years as an IT/OT engineer.
-Your knowledge: Experience with and knowledge of software development tools (e.g., Powershell, .NET, Python, OOP, Visual Studio, SQL, etc.). Broad knowledge of Windows systems and environments (Servers, Active Directory, Office, etc.) is also required.
-Languages: Dutch and English (very good).
Nice-to-haves:

-Knowledge of industrial data management applications (Aspentech IP.21, AVEVA PI, AVEVA (Wonderware) Historian, Ignition SCADA/MES, Seeq Industrial Analytics, etc.) is highly appreciated.
-Your mindset: Eager to learn, persistent, and creative in finding solutions. Proactive and independent work attitude, with ambitions for project management and continuous professional growth.
