• Lead a cross-functional preclinical team ensuring timely delivery of results and budget expectations.
• Drive innovation identifying new collaboration opportunities, technologies, and ideas in line with NMS strategic goals.
• Design, supervise and evaluate laboratory activities, overseeing report preparation.
• Manage CROs’ activities.
• Participate, as scientific representative, in advisory committees with external partners.
• Collaborate in the preparation of presentation at scientific meeting and papers for publication in scientific journals.
• Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team supporting internal and external initiatives aimed to develop NMS ADC platform.
• Ensure timely generation of critical project data obtained by different approaches including cancer cell biology, computational biology, translational and precision medicine, and will contribute to the strategic advancement of the platform.

requirements

• MD or PhD in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or related fields and 5+ years of experience in the biotech or pharma industry environment.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.
• Expertise in translational and clinical research and experience in biologics drug discovery and pre-clinical development.
• Strong knowledge of cancer biology, in-vitro and in-vivo pre-clinical models of cancer, cell biology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry. Also, knowledge in the ADC field including target selection, clinical scenario, market trend and competition.
