The PMO will report into the Functional complements (FC) General Manager. You act as the point of contact for status updates, risks and mitigation plans. You will have regular touch-points with Mars Petcare, regional teams and priority markets, obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders

- Proven professional experience in Project Management in a Multi-cultural environment with a Strong business acumen and ability to think and operate cross-functionally
- Ability to build strong relationships and interact with Key stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record in team development and the engagement of associates.
- Excellent Communication Skills, High sense of urgency and personal accountability
- Fluency in English is required, additional language skills are a plus
What will be your key responsibilities ?
Project management :
- Responsible for the process design and mapping to enable speed and agility for our Functional complement’s organization.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and solutions in managing innovation and launching of supplements and treats at speed.
- Develops, strengthens, manages, maintains, and supports daily operations within the specific scope of responsibilities focusing on proactive, effective, and timely results.
- Establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinates the involvement of broader contributions and teams to achieve the best business results and stakeholder outcomes.
- Responsible for guiding and mentoring the team in the mission of superior execution with a focus on agility, innovation, continuous improvement, and clear communication while also creating space for out-of-the-box thinking.
- Support and updates the strategy and the overall projects with the functional complements’ leaders.
PMO activities :
- Manages the action tracker follow up and ensures we meet deadlines.
- Participates to weekly touch points with the FC team to ensure action tracker is aligned with strategy plan.
- Establishes individual touch points with key stakeholders when necessary to follow up on activities that need to be completed.
- Contributes to strategy elaboration with the GM and the rest of the team.
- Supports in setting up meetings with the FCLT/regions/, and other partners.
- Supports in organizing team events and logistics.
- Manages and keeps track of planning, risks, and action plans through our project management tools.
- Prepares and facilitates touchpoints on weekly, periodic, and quarterly basis.
Stakeholder Management :
- Ensures that connections are made at the right level both with the COE and the larger Mars/RC organization.
- Supports Steerco, Board Meeting, and team meetings through collaboration with functional leaders.
- Supports the FC leadership team in preparation of the board and Steerco meetings.
- Keeps stakeholders apprised of significant wins, updates, or initiatives that impact their work or business
Communication
- Sets up a productive meeting structure, pre-align with key stakeholders on escalations and topics to be discussed before key meetings, and conduct regular reviews to ensure that meetings deliver the right outcomes.
- Documents meeting outcomes and distributes outcomes and action items – use existing project management tools to log action items for internal and external project contributors.
- Ensures decisions that need to be made are presented in a way that streamlines the deliberation process.
- Escalates issues that cannot be resolved within the team and require a higher level of discussion.
Knowledge Sharing
- Maintains a playbook that serves as a blueprint for launching functional complements across regions/markets.
- Sets up a knowledge sharing framework that facilitates retrieval of past work product.
- Organizes ad hoc information and business update sessions when new initiatives come into play.
General Support Activities
- Maintains event and absence calendars to ensure business continuity and proper handoffs.
- Sets up access for new hires to the tools they need and troubleshoots if necessary.
