A great opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join an established and successful organisation based in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with a fantastic organisation, offering competitive salary & excellent benefitsIn this role you will be responsible for:

• Working on bids/projects either managing the whole project or a work package for larger projects
• Ensuring all projects are planned and managed to agreed quality, cost & delivery requirements
• Primary point of contact to the customer for delivery of the project
• Setting up and baseline allocated Bids/projects and controlling them throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Run Start Up meetings, daily stand-ups, monthly project reviews, Contract Status Reviews (CSR’s) and Gate reviews with the team
• Work with the project team and functions to establish the project budget and quality expectations

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role as Project Manager, ideally from within the manufacturing/engineering sector. It would be an advantage if you have an understanding of engineering and have worked in a manufacturing/engineering environment. You should have an APM Project Management qualification and be proficient in MS Project.This role offers an attractive salary and is easily commutable from York, Malton, Pickering, Thirsk, Scarborough and surrounding areas
