Venatu Recrutment are proud to annouce a leading client of ours with the high-end, steelwork fabrication indstry is now looking for a Contract Manager to join them at their HQ in Doncaster. The client is a leading provider of high-quality steelwork fabrication solutions, committed to delivering excellence in every project are well known for projects in the Railway, Highways and Construction Industry, working alongside various Tier 1 Contractors. Due to thei conisitent grwoth and expansion, they’re now looking for a Contracts Manager to manage and oversee multiple steel installation projects. This would be a great position for someone who has experience in the steelwork sector and can confidently apply their skills, knowledge, and experience to other well-known, large-scale projects.This is a full-time role paying £40k to £50k per year DOE! As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing several projects ranging in size and splitting your time between Head Office and the different sites throughout the UK.Job Duties Include:

• The ability to read engineering drawings, structural steelwork drawings, connection details and specifications of various quality.
• The ability to undertake site surveys and provide detailed information for fabrication and installation.
• To confidently coordinate the Design; Production & Installation of Projects and to fully understand the project requirements/scope of works/specifications etc.
• To produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• To be conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

The type of candidate they’re looking for:

• Proven experince as a Contracts Manager/Overseeing large projects
• Proven experince within the steelworks industry with experience on Bridges, Highway and steelwork infrastructure.
• Proven experince in Project Delivery from inception throught to completion.
• Has NEBOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS, or CSCS are some of the qualifications that we would expect all individuals to have undertaken in their current roles or in the past.
• PTS (Ideally needed but could be completed following the appointment – Drugs/Alcohol Medical will be required)

• Railway Stations (Access For all Schemes)
• Rail Bridges
• Footbridges
• Road Bridges
• Lift Shafts
• Platform Canopies
• Staircases
• Motorway Gantries
