Project Manager Job descriptionEast Riding of Yorkshire council is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their busy Civil Engineering Team.About usThe Projects Engineering Team helps to deliver high quality, award winning, capital infrastructure projects across East Riding. As part of an excellent employment package, we offer flexible working hours, agile working, generous annual leave entitlement and a pension scheme.About the roleYou will be working closely with a team of talented and experienced engineers, both in the office and remotely from home or a project site office. Supporting senior staff, you will provide design input and technical knowledge for a wide range of highway infrastructure projects from inception through to completion. This will include projects such as, road design, junction improvements and cycle way design schemesRequirements:

  • Educated to HNC/HND in a construction related field.
  • Post qualification experience in design experience in the civil engineering sector.
  • Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. A working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A working knowledge of the New Engineering Contract.
  • A working knowledge of CDM regulations.
