Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob DescriptionPosition Objective:The role leads projects primarily in support of operations strategy for the Eindhoven Operations department ensuring that they are delivered on time and with the desired outcome by leading and motivating the project team assigned consisting of subject matter experts & functional leaders. You will ensure that each project adheres to the project management process. You will have a high degree of autonomy to achieve project goals & objectives.Essential Functions:

• Initiate, plan and implement assigned projects using standard work.
• Build and present project report outs to leadership.
• Craft project plans with supporting analysis.
• Leading project teams which are cross departmental.
• Form relationships with business leaders and divisional teams to drive efficiency in the project approval and implementation phases.

Education:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a science, technical or business field or at least 5 years’ equivalent work experience

Experience:

• Solid track record for running projects in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Confirmed understanding of project management tools and methodology.
• Detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
• Ability to successfully interact with and collaborate across departments, business unit leadership, and Thermo Fisher divisions.
• Ability to build plans that align with partner expectations.
• Anticipates needs and problems while crafting solutions.
• Ability to influence others and partner cross functionally.
• Strong communication and social skills. Strong team building skills and the ability to lead a diverse group of people to develop credibility and forge positive professional relationships with peers and management.
• Experience gained from leading projects across a global organization is desirable.
• Track record in improvement projects or activities is desirable
• Experience of significant capital investment projects or establishing new sites, product transfers, consolidations is desirable
