• Promote the practical application and use of Project Control tools and techniques for successful programme delivery, including scheduling, change control and earned value management and identifying and supporting training needs where required
• Support delivery of any requested analysis relating to schedule risk analysis, health checks, schedule adherence and cost performance measurements
• Provide cross-functional support for the monthly project update cycle, supporting the Project Management community in understanding and proactively using key programme performance indicators
• Establish and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships in support of Project Control reporting and toolset development
• Establish the fundamentals for effective Project Control (budget, schedule, resource & change management) for all project types (Customer, internal funded etc.)
• Provide maturity analysis and analytics to the business
• Data Analytics, metrics and performance assessments through project and dashboard reporting

Your skills and experiences:Essential

• Experienced in a Project Management Office, Project Management environment or a project delivery support role
• Experience of a Project Control Systems and toolset/s or an appropriate alternative
• Analytical skills, able to manipulate data and identify trends and able to coach the Project Management community in project control outputs, analysis and interpretation
• Familiarity with, and competence using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, knowledge and demonstrable practical experience of the SAP system would be of significant benefit
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
• Be able to convert process and display data into an easily presentable format

Desirable:

• Demonstratable experience of the reporting and analysis of Project Control information, including Earned Value Management
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Project or equivalent

You will lead the deployment of Planning, Monitoring and Control within the business, in support of business and customer requirements.
