Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Turbine servicing company to recruit a Project Manager for its office in Lincoln.The Project Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000.If you’re an experienced Project Manager who holds a degree and has experience working in similar heavy industries, then upload your CV to apply today.
Responsibilities and dutiesReporting to the Head of Projects you will:

• Look after all aspects of the project from risk review on the quote, working with the customer on scope in purchase order then through the project to final invoicing and close out.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the team, through all aspects of the project and be the point of contact internally and external for the order.
• Be monitored on key deliverables including regular reporting both internally and externally of RAID logs, change logs and project plans.
• Attend customer visits, within the UK or internationally depending on the size of the contracts.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that review are carried out, including financial, risk and contract as required and escalate when needed.

Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:

• Project Management qualification highly desirable, or experience in Project Management.
• Qualified to degree level in Engineering or Business Related subject
• At least 3 years’ experience of project management and leadership of multiple projects
• Understanding of contract terms and conditions, including those related to client and purchasing requirements.
• Knowledge of industrial Gas Turbines, including auxiliary systems would be a strong advantage.

• Good knowledge of procurement and purchasing
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to work confidently under pressure
