And with biosolutions, the possibilities for transformation are endless.We’re here to better our world with biology.Join us as our new Research Scientist in the Prototype department, R&DAs Research Scientist in the purification team, you will be responsible for the production and purification of protein/enzyme samples, that are used in various applications, and across diverse projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are being met, and to communicate task progression. Moreover, you will be involved in optimizing processes and developing methods.Welcome to the ´Prototyping´ department.
We are a dedicated department consisting of three teams, of which you will be part of the purification team. The team is made up of 4 scientists and 7 laboratory technicians who work closely together as a highly effective team. We focus on assisting and helping each other to deliver on common targets. You will join an agile team dedicated to fermentation in shake flask, protein purification on Äkta’s, and characterization of enzyme prototypes. By delivering enzyme prototypes, the team enables fast progress of projects across different industries in Novonesis R&D.In this role you’ll make an impact by:Ensure timely coordination with stakeholders to address quality needs and task progressionActively being part of the laboratory, and ensuring successful purification of proteins of interestEngaging in troubleshooting and optimization of purification methodsClearly communicating data, conclusions and progress to key stakeholdersTo succeed you must:Masters degree or PhD within biotechnology or similar areasHave solid experience with protein purification, preferably using Äkta’sHave solid experience with different principles of purification, HIC, IEX, MMC, SECPreferably have experience with enzyme assays and characterizationPreferably have a desire for working in a laboratory settingBe a team player motivated by common goals and collaborationBe responsible and outgoing while enjoying the communication with stakeholdersLocation: This job will be in Denmark at our Innovation Campus in Kgs.
