Job Purpose

Direct and control the Purchasing activity, in aspects of supplier selection, sourcing of good sustainable suppliers, price determination and the control of all incoming materials.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Activity Area 1: Structural Problem Solving 

“Process to conclusion, solve, structure and direct all disputed purchases of goods and services in order to protect the company and with fairness to the supplier.”

Key activity Area 2: Continuous Improvement

 “Improve, manage and implement best practice supply chain solutions and realize projects aimed at reducing costs, improving supply performance and operating efficiency.”

Key activity Area 3: Strategic Development and Coordination

 “Negotiate with and manage suppliers worldwide and establish commodity sourcing strategy in order to secure the production in the Dana plants by selecting world class suppliers.”

-focus on environmental aspects
