We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Python Developer to write Python libraries that are core to thousands of applications across Morgan Stanley. Our team provides software for other developers, enabling them to automate systems, test applications, and develop business products. We are a development team providing core code libraries to other developers.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:Work as a developer coding primarily in Python and some JavascriptWork on Morgan Stanley’s one-stop solution for automation including the feature-rich framework and its servicesBuild software that you will be proud of – very well written, extensively tested, clearly documentedBe visible outside the firm via our open source project on github:Get to use these technologies: Python, Bazel, Containers, Kubernetes, RedHat9, Grafana, GitHub, and TestplanWhat you’ll bring to the role:Experience of developing large scale Python projects.Strong problem solving skills.
