The company offers a wide range of technology solutions that help businesses in these sectors optimize operations and enhance customer service.In Poland, Shiji Group focuses on the development of the Shiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.We are currently building a new team that will be extending that platform with new features connected with POS and food ordering systems. We are looking for candidates to join that team and help us enhance the user experience and streamline operations for our clients.How We Work – Remote/Hybrid Work:

• Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice): 4 times a month
• Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office: 2 times a month
• Employees over 100 km: fully remote work

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionYou will be testing our web application based on user stories and performing exploratory testing depend on your extensive testing knowledge . You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, translate user stories into test cases and automate them. You should also have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Automation test: 10%, manual test: 90%.Technologies used:

• Jira, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, GitLab, Selenium, Terminal, TestRail
• Windows or Linux,
• Docker, Microservices

Our Daily Work:

• We follow Scrum with iterating Sprints, Grooming & Sprint planning sessions, Code Freeze after sprint and retrospective meetings
• We use teams to communicate and or participate in meetings with other team members
• We use docker and docker compose for local running of all microservices
• We use postman and swagger for API testing
• We write test cases using testrail
• We comper fronted development with designs perper in Figma by UX team
• We use our QA Toolbox to run automation tests and seed data for manual testing
• We use Visual Studio or Rider for writing automation tests
• We write automation tests for backend and frontend (using Selenium and Playwright)
• We open merge requests and wait for review for other QA before merge new tests

Qualifications

• Experience working in a technical environment
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of QA methodology
• Experience troubleshooting and identifying bugs
• Experience working closely with development teams to communicate issues and requirements
• Experience with development and testing support
• Thorough attention to detail and double-checking work
• Well-organized documentation of solutions for reference and handover to other teams
• Communication: Takes the initiative through clear written and verbal communication with team members in working towards project completion and issue resolution
• Personal effectiveness: Produces outstanding results both personally and professionally by being proactive, committed, and resourceful
• Analytical problem solving: Able to make creative use of available resources to logically deduce the causes behind defective behavior and identify the solution
• Technical competence: Uses technical job knowledge and experience, incorporating functional skills and broad-based business knowledge, to learn workflows and requirements of different software solutions and testing methods
