QA/QC Site Manager – Data Center (Electrical Background)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Site Manager with a strong electrical background to join major mission-critical Data Center projects.
The role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities related to electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with international standards, hyperscale client requirements, contractual specifications, and internal quality procedures.

This is a site-based position, with involvement from construction through commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management – Data Center

Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
*

Prepare, review, and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
*

Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, hyperscale specifications, and commissioning matrices

Materials & Technical Documentation

Review and manage Material Submittals (M/S)
*

Validate Method Statements and shop drawings
*

Perform quality checks on incoming materials (MIR)

Inspections, Testing & Commissioning Readiness

Conduct and oversee inspections in line with approved ITPs
*

Supervise electrical testing (IR, continuity, Hi-Pot, LV/MV testing)
*

Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities up to IST

Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement

Manage NCRs, SORs, and CAPAs
*

Perform root cause analysis
*

Track and ensure timely closure of non-conformities

Multidisciplinary Coordination

Interface with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, HSE, and Commissioning teams
*

Participate in quality, coordination, and progress meetings

Reporting & Handover

Maintain QA/QC logs, inspection reports, and test records
*

Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports
*

Supervise final quality documentation and handover dossiers

Requirements

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical / Technical Diploma

Experience

6-10 years of QA/QC experience on complex construction projects
*

Strong preference for Data Center or other mission-critical facilities
*

Experience in Middle East or international EPC environments is a plus

Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of PQP, QMS, ITP, RFI, Method Statements, MIR, NCR
*

Familiarity with IEC and BS standards
*

Experience with FAT/SAT and Data Center commissioning processes
*

BIM knowledge is an advantage

Soft Skills

Fluent technical English
*

Ability to lead and coordinate multicultural teams
*

Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving
