Job Description Summary BD is seeking a Quality Specialist to support the quality system and activities in the Benelux region. • Quality Assurance: Manages and improves a quality system in accordance to BDX guidelines and standards, and compliant with local governmental regulations on a national scale which apply to BDX country activities, business needs and internationally marketed products and services
• Manage and maintain certification of ISO 13485 requirements across the go to market entity for the Benelux
• Supplier performance: Ensure that suppliers with a quality impact used by the organization are selected, classified, evaluated, and monitored and that records of this assessment are maintained.
• Management Review: Coordinate periodically meetings and prepare and submit quarterly management reports relating to company systems, compliance, and incidents. Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
• Manage any local inspections & audits and ensure appropriate engagement with local, regional and business leadership
• NCR & CAPA management: Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
• Training: Maintain the QMS training plan for Benelux. Ensure that all new staff are inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide refreshment training as necessary

About you

• Proven experience working ideally in a medical device/pharma/pharmacy environment
• ISO 13485 knowledge
• Strong relationship building skills; demonstrated leadership coupled with the ability to work well with people at all levels and in all functions of the organization as well as with external regulatory agencies.
• Good analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
• Excellent communications, technical and presentation skills.
• Computer skills (Advanced with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Language skills: Dutch and English essential and French preferred.
