Join them in their mission to push boundaries, shape the future, and make an impact on a global scaleAs an R&D Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation and scheduling of their laboratory R&D projects. Managing specific R&D initiatives will be at the heart of your responsibilities, alongside overseeing a talented team of materials chemists.Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and Schedule: Take charge of the coordination and scheduling of all laboratory R&D projects, ensuring efficient workflow and timely deliverables.
  • Project Management: Lead the management of specific R&D projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones are met and objectives achieved.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of skilled chemists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for lab optimisation, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices for enhanced efficiency.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of project goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry or related field.
  • Extensive experience in roles with accountability for R&D projects
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery within a scientific or industrial setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering innovation.
