Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Student Recruitment and Conversion Manager to join our team. As one of the UK’s leading business schools, LUMS offers undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education to a diverse and international student body.
The Student Recruitment and Conversion Manager will be responsible for leading the recruitment and conversion of students to the school’s programmes. You will be a key member of the admissions team and will work closely with academic departments to develop and implement recruitment strategies that target domestic and international students.
Leading an established team comprising of a Student Recruitment and Conversion Officer and a Student Recruitment and Conversion Coordinator, the Student Recruitment and Conversion Manager, will build strong relationships and increase our engagement with target schools and colleges. In addition, this role will deliver, develop, and support conversion activity for applicants.
Please note that the role will have shared responsibility, and workload will be allocated to a particular market segment. It will also require extensive periods of travel around the UK and overseas, visiting schools and colleges and attending events, outside office hours and working occasional weekends.
This is the perfect position for a highly organised, dynamic individual who is skilled at presenting, engaging with prospective students and adept at motivating an energetic team. It is an excellent opportunity to develop a strong engagement skillset in a supportive and friendly team within the diverse University community.
This post is offered as a full-time, indefinite role, working a minimum of 2 days a week from our Lancaster campus, though flexible arrangements may be considered. The role is offered on a blended work schedule with both on-campus and home working.
