We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time role of Regional Business Manager for Southern Europe who will be responsible for delivering the commercial plan, sales and operating expenses for the region and manage and develop a team of commercial professionals.
Essential Functions

Identify and maximize growth opportunities, set regional goals and draw up plans based on regional account analysis and market data, while ensuring alignment of regional sales plans with overall company/franchise strategy

Generate clear development plans for key current and future accounts and Key Opinion Leaders.

Track and analyze sales trends for the region and propose forecast changes accordingly

Provide leadership to the commercial people to build a high performing sales team in the region

Manage and direct activities of all major contracts relating to customer, thereby ensuring that adequate communication and account management support is provided

Execute marketing strategies and implement plans to increase market penetration and address competition within region.

Organize and attend relevant conferences, seminars and industry meetings to continually enhance market and industry knowledge

Develop and maintain executive-level contact with key accounts and buying groups

Explore future growth opportunities in collaboration with Market Development

Partner effectively and influence across all levels within the organization (Professional Education, Clinical & Technical Support, Medical Affairs, Contract Management, Research & Development and other departments)
Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, life-science or related areas preferred.

Minimum of 15 years’ industry experience in a commercial role

Minimum 5 years’ experience in successfully leading remote teams
-
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken plus minimum one other southern European language
-
Significant experience in leading high performance, international teams
-
Proven ability to operate in a diverse and international work environment

Ability to change between strategic and operational mindset
-
Proven examples of both short- and long-term projects driving growth

Strong communication skills, together with confidence to work with (senior) management at pan-European and international level
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
This role reports to the Director Sales Management and has three full-time direct reports with associated teams (in total 8 employees) based remotely across Southern Europe.
The role will work closely with the Regional Business Managers of Central and Northern Europe as well as Market Access, Medical, Market Development and Finance.
Working Conditions:
The role is field/home based preferably in France, Italy or Spain.
Willingness to travel significantly within the region and internationally (up to 60%).
