Your Role
As a Regional Sales Manager Europe, you will take the lead in managing and growing our Algae Ingredients business across the region. You will drive sales strategies, develop key accounts, and explore new opportunities in a dynamic and evolving market. Working closely with our business development, technical sales, product management, supply chain, and marketing teams, you will play a crucial role in shaping Corbion’s presence in the animal nutrition sector.
Your Responsibilities
-Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
-Manage existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities in collaboration with the business development manager.
-Own revenue, volume, pricing, and margin targets for your region.
-Collaborate with product management on pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
-Build and maintain a robust pipeline to support business growth and new product launches.
-Work with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and supply availability.
-Gather and analyze market insights to support regional and global strategies.
-Ensure optimal working capital management, including credit limits and payment terms.
Your Profile
-At least 5 years of experience in international B2B sales of raw materials or ingredients with a sustainability value proposition.
-Strong affinity with Aqua Nutrition, Agricultural, Animal Nutrition, Pet Food, or Human Nutrition industries.
-Experience in the animal feed industry, particularly in pet food and livestock.
-Strong industry contacts to help develop new leads and customers.
-A degree in Business, Food Science, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Zoology, or equivalent experience.
-Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships.
-Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
-A collaborative team player with leadership potential and initiative.
-Capable of working closely with the business development manager to bring in new leads and mature them into sales opportunities.
-Willingness and ability to travel extensively, especially in the beginning, with an expected travel rate of 50-60% initially, which may decrease as the business becomes more established.
-Comfortable working in a flexible environment, including office and remote work, depending on travel schedules.
