Regional /Site(s) HR Manager Sr

Permanent role at Illkirch

The Regional /Site(s) HR Manager Sr is an influential member of the site management team, providing comprehensive HR support to site businesses in his/her region to facilitate improved business performance and employee engagement. He/She is responsible for the development and implementation of site HR strategies to support strategic objectives, including the further development of a values-based culture, continuous improvement, talent attraction, retention and development.

He/She coordinates a team of HR partners to provide HR services to site leaders and managers, employees throughout the employment lifecycle. Integrated into the wider HR organization, he/she is the “key point of contact” for his/her perimeter, Business HR Partners (BHRP) and country HR, locally implementing HR programs and initiatives in alignment with broader HR and business objectives.

  • Maintain strong partnership relationships with key leaders and collaborate with BHRPs for a complete and holistic view of the business to create HR tactical plans that enable businesses to achieve their goals and drive growth.

  • Lead the various HR practices that will develop and deliver an employee-focused, high-performance culture. Mentors leaders to build people management capabilities. Provides leadership and promotes a positive One Thermo Fisher Group culture.

  • Build and drive a culture of employee engagement to improve team performance and effectiveness.

  • Support and inspire change through the implementation of effective organizational solutions.

  • Stimulate talent, including assessment and succession processes. Attract and retain talent at all levels.

  • Collaborate with site WC and lead WC/union negotiations for HR-related topics.

  • Work as one HR team with all parts of the HR organization to improve efficiency, cohesion and collaboration to achieve better results for businesses. Ensure legislative compliance and alignment across the country.

  • Manage, empower and develop the HR team members under his/her responsibility.
