Job description

Our client is a Local Authority in North London that has 2 Building Control Teams managing a diverse range of projects across the Borough. They are at the forefront of ensuring development meets the necessary building regulations.You will join one of these teams and will be assigned work in line with your designation as a Registered Building Inspector Class 2 (A to D). You will be fully involved in all relevant activity and our client is keen to emphasise that they can support those looking for career development and the opportunity to progress their qualification.You will need to an understanding of the building control process and the building regulations as well as an ability to carry out plan assessments. We would expect minimum qualifications to include membership of either RICS or CABE and an appropriate academic qualification. We are looking for significant recent experience and would consider those from the private sector as well as those with a public sector focused CV.The rate is £434/day (umbrella) which is equivalent to £62/hr. We expect hybrid working will be offered. The contract will be at least 3-6 months with potential to extend.
