They focus on creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where young people can thrive and reach their full potential.As a Registered Manager, you will:

• Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager of the home
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Lead, guide, and supervise a team of care staff
• Develop and implement individualised care plans
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for children and young people
• Liaise with external agencies such as social workers and education providers
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Drive continuous improvement and high performance
• Prepare for and participate in Ofsted inspections

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a managerial or senior role within a children’s residential setting
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted inspection framework
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
• Flexibility to work on-call and outside standard hours
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
