Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Food Compliance

We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to manage the compliance of confectionery products with food regulations and technical standards in the CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States). In this role, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, providing expertise on labeling regulations, ingredient verification, claims assessment, and customs documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and Assess Regulations: Keep track of food and labeling regulations and technical standards across CIS countries, ensuring compliance and sharing updates internally.
* Labeling Expertise: Verify and approve product labels, ensuring they meet local requirements.
* Project Support: Collaborate with Marketing and R&D teams to provide regulatory advice for new product development.
* Ingredient Compliance: Prepare ingredient lists, nutritional information, and assess raw materials for compliance.
* Customs and Testing Support: Prepare and manage documentation for customs and laboratory purposes, including product testing and registration of declarations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with trade associations, national food authorities, technical consultants, and lawyers to stay updated on regulatory trends.
Requirements
We’re looking for a organized, detail-oriented professional with the following skills and qualifications:
* 4 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in Russian (native or proficient) and English (very good command).
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn new concepts in diverse areas.
* Strong research capabilities and a proactive interest in learning and analyzing regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
