If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.Join our Spanish team as a Regulatory Analyst!Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of EU and Spanish regulatory requirements for hazard communication, chemical compliance, product compliance, and dangerous goods
  • Understand and apply EU Regional and local Spanish regulatory requirements to raw materials and finished goods
  • Complete regulatory reviews independently and identify changes to regulations, sharing updates with the team/manager
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, assist managers with data for Agency inquiries, and maintain good relationships with internal customers
  • Assist in responding to complex customer inquiries or certification statements
  • Act as a key user of Product Stewardship systems, manage regulatory data, and ensure data quality for compliance
  • Support integration projects, technology transfers, site consolidations, and new business assessments
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost and efficiency through process changes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • 2-5 years in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, or a scientific position in the paint and coatings industry
  • Experience managing regulatory aspects of raw materials and chemical products, and expertise in Spanish national and EU chemical regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English
  • Proficient in a wide variety of IT applications and Product Stewardship systems
  • Profound experience working in multidisciplinary teams, leading and influencing cross-organizationally, and participating in professional or trade association working groups
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with strong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of trade compliance
