TasksThis position is within the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting Programme (IRR) and is responsible for supporting regulatory reporting teams across multiple locations, including Paris, Krakow, London, and India. The role involves interpreting regulatory policies, advising business lines on the impact of these policies on transactions, new products, and regulatory disclosures.The Regulatory Policy Team provides technical guidance and support to functions, businesses, and legal entities on regulatory issues, offering challenge and governance to mitigate regulatory risk. Key responsibilities include monitoring new rule developments, interpreting regulations related to RWAs, capital resources, leverage ratio, and Recovery & Resolution reporting across various risk areas such as credit risk, counterparty credit risk, securitization, and market risk.The team collaborates closely with the Group Regulatory Policy team and engages with local regulatory authorities, ensuring that expectations are clearly understood and implemented. They also provide policy support for advocacy and implementation efforts, keeping senior management informed about regulatory changes to aid in strategic decision-making.Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of prudential regulations is essential, including those administered by key bodies such as the Basel Committee (BCBS), UK/PRA, EU, ECB, and EBA.
• Expertise in one or more areas of prudential regulatory capital, such as RWAs, leverage ratio, and capital resources under US, UK/PRA, and/or BCBS frameworks is desirable.
• Proven ability to act as an advisor and challenger to internal stakeholders on prudential regulatory policy.
• Strong control mindset, supporting other functions to ensure compliance and accurate reporting of regulatory requirements.
• Professional demeanor and presentation, with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory texts and interpretations clearly and defensibly.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, identify improvements, and collaborate effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering outcomes efficiently and effectively for complex regulatory rules and interpretations.
• Highly motivated to contribute to strategic programs with high complexity and multiple input teams.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team, contributing to shared deliverables.
• Strong analytical abilities to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and plan accordingly.
• Proactive in identifying risks/issues and ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
• Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools, with excellent skills in both areas.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional global and regional teams, such as policy, regulatory reporting, treasury, and financial accounting teams.
